Group Volunteering

Each one of us can make a difference. Together we make change.

As responsible citizens we often think about giving our time to develop our society. This thought often gathers the sincerity of intent and the commitment to act and yet it is challenging to find a constructive outlet for it.

The power of this thought in a collective, whether it is in corporate teams or other formal/informal groups can create tremendous momentum for social development.

One Good Step, enables you to channel this energy into development works. Our social projects attempt to cover a wide base of beneficiaries across distributed geographies. Reaching out to so many people is possible only through group volunteering. We welcome volunteer groups to assist us in our efforts.

Volunteering with us is structured, group-based and often requires some amount of pre-training in order to ensure a productive use of your time to drive development goals.

E.g Our highly successful “Nanna Kannu” (“My Eyes” ) program, where we have screened 6500+ children for eye health issues was achieved with corporate volunteer groups from organizations like Infosys, Infor, RBS etc.

This academic year (2017-2018), we are focused on group volunteer efforts around rural government schools in the districts around Bangalore and encourage your participation.

Participants in this program, besides contributing their time for development causes, also get tremendous exposure to social development challenges, rural contexts and aspirations.

Group volunteering is satisfying and engaging, as you will be working as a team force towards a cause. It has a sense of purpose and is extremely fulfilling at an individual level.

This is ideal for:

Corporates: If you would like to do group volunteering as part of your HR(employee engagement) or CSR agenda at your workplace please write in to us

Other Groups: If you can mobilize any other formal or informal group of individuals.

Do write in to us at getintouch@onegoodstep.org for more details or fill in form below.

We welcome your participation!
